Tough / long climb on a hot day. First walk with my new Mountain Warehouse rucksack with the wee air gap on the back. Also first time using the Komoot app for offline maps which worked well. Walked in along the private road and filled up on water at the river before a steep ascent through the gully. Opened up to a boggy bit before another steep ascent to the top of Ben Bhuidhe. Took the "Hydro Track" on the way back which was quite hard to walk down, especially at the end. Met some frogs, all named Gilbert by Jess. |
